Indiana Geospatial Training Academy

Advancing Indiana’s Geospatial Talent

The Indiana Geospatial Training Academy (IN‑GTA) is a joint effort among Indiana University, Purdue University, and Valparaiso University dedicated to expanding geospatial expertise across the state. IN‑GTA provides accessible, industry‑focused training designed for Indiana professionals. Each workshop is crafted around the state’s specific geospatial landscape, giving participants hands-on experience with the tools, data, and workflows widely used in Indiana’s professional community.

Check back often for new offerings.

IN‑GTA is endorsed by the Indiana Geographic Information Council.

A second two‑day ArcGIS Fundamentals training session is planned for Indianapolis in Spring 2026.
